Why should you choose a mildly acidic cleanser?
Healthy skin is slightly acidic. This is because of various acidic components such as fatty acids, ascorbic acid, and lactic acid secreted by sweat and sebaceous glands.
These ingredients form a weakly acidic protective film, inhibit the growth of alkaline harmful microorganisms, and help maintain a healthy skin environment. However, if the acid component on the skin surface decreases due to excessive washing and incorrect skin care, the defense against harmful microorganisms is weakened.
